Loved watching these grow. I tried to do a time lapse video & it never captured, so idk when it actually grew. It was fun for the whole family. Wish it would grow again, but seemed to be a onetime use thing. In the instructions you're supposed to soak your block in water. After we did that, I poured the water down the side of the tree & now have tiny mushrooms growing in the side of my tree.

When I received the kit, there were some mushrooms already growing in the package. But, I just removed them and continue following the instructions.
Although I live in very cold area and the room temperature in the morning is below 15 celsius, literally within a week, it started pinning!! Wow!! The photos are over a week old. I keep it in the kitchen counter right next to my electric rice cooker hoping the mushrooms can get some warmth from it:)
By the way, I also bought a oyster mushroom growing kit from a different company at the same time, but that hasn't started pinning yet so far.

I’m too impatient for plants to grow and these were much more interesting and fast. You kinda wonder if it’s even going to work the first week but then it explodes. You can even get two batches if you follow instructions. I think I could have even gotten a third batch but I tried to mix it all up and reset it. You should just leave it alone and kept moist.
